The Tennessee Shelf is crafted entirely from recycled material. With granite sourced from a studio closure in Footscray and glass shelves remnants of a Franco Cozzo-esque housing renovation in Bulleen.
Forged by the primordial forces of lava, the granite bears striking patternation and colours, giving it a post modern sensibility.
The unit shows markings of a sustainable journey with two small chips in the glass and saw marks on the granite's rear, each imperfection telling a story of renewal and repurpose.
